SUMMER TERM -WEEK 6-
Year 3 - Working At Home
Mrs Cooley is now planning the work for Year 3
Week beginning 1st June, 2020.
Thank you for the lovely replies I received in response to the letter I e-mailed yesterday. I am delighted to be back at St. Bartholomew's! I have missed the children very much. I have been regularly looking at the website and your e-mails showing the work the children have been doing at home. You have been doing a great job! I will be making phone calls again this week to check how you are all doing. I look forward to speaking with you.
I will continue to update this web page with Maths, English and Topic activities which you can do at home. These will be either online activities or refer to work in the packs sent home. Apologies for the late submission of this week's work, but as I said in my letter I only had access to the Year 3 learning objectives from this morning.
Again, I have tried to reduce the online learning because after speaking to many parents the feedback was either that don't have access to the internet at home other than via a smartphone or children get frustrated because the site is slow due to high demand.
Please keep sending emails and photographs of what you are doing at home, I love to see them!
Mums and Dads, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
You can contact me by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you and keep safe!
For Friday 5th June
Today's challenge is a riddle...
I’m hot and I live in the sky. I’m bright, don’t look directly at me. I will disappear at night.
What am I?
Email me your answers to today's challenge.
Take a look at some of Year 3's fab home learning!
And more lock-down learning!
